Golf is a game of immense spirit and feeling. It’s a game that is played seriously, but shouldn’t be taken seriously. On The Green is about my serious addiction that I have to golf and how golf has provided me with many moments of joy and laughter. It is on the golf course were I feel the most freedom and expression of who I am. You get to mingle with people that sometimes you would never meet or spend time with. I met one of my greatest companions on a golf course and our journey changes and continue.

On The Green Comic is about having fun and expressing that fun without distortion. F.U.N, is the Full Use of Now and the inclusion of all we see and do. I was first introduced to golf as a child. My dad use to bring me home golf balls that were hit OB from the country club he would walk past on his way home from work. I never played or did I ever think about playing. Being a black kid growing up in the projects of NYC in the 60’s, it wouldn’t have crossed my thoughts. It wasn’t until 1992 that I finally came to my mistress and have indulged in fornication ever since. It’s been 15 years since I picked up a seven iron on the Westchester driving range and L.A and said, yes, yes, yes.
